How Gameplans Work

Start with the meeting and date

Check the venue, racing code and meeting date before using a Gameplan. The bankroll is the budget used to construct that plan, not an amount you need to spend.

Read the bets

Each bet lists its race, bet type, selection and total stake. Bet details explain exotic combinations and any additional instructions.

For each-way bets, the stake shown includes both portions. A $20 total stake might mean $10 win plus $10 place. Check the bet details for the exact split and place terms.

For quaddies and other exotics, the stake is the actual amount spent. Check the combinations, total cost and any flexi percentage before submitting a bet.

Check current odds and scratchings

Prices are recorded fixed odds, not a live feed. The odds timestamp shows when they were checked.

Odds, scratchings and place terms can change. Confirm the current selection, price and terms with your bookmaker. A recommendation made at one price may no longer offer the same value at a shorter price.

Understand results

Total returned includes returned stakes and any refunds recorded.

Profit or loss = total returned − total staked.

ROI = profit or loss ÷ total staked × 100.

For example, $100 staked and $143.50 returned produces a $43.50 profit and 43.50% ROI. Results depend on the recorded prices and settlements; your own return may differ.

Set your own limits

Gameplans are intended for adults aged 18 and over. You can reduce the stakes, skip bets or choose not to bet. Only gamble with money you can afford to lose, and never chase losses.
